Some stuff you may already know but one you might not but will shock you..

So C*ntley C*nt gets voted in as number 25 greatest Arsenal player of all time, you sure? Who the f*ck voted for this little toe rag? If C*ntley C*nt isn’t the most despised Arsenal player of all time for his money grabbing, clandestine hotel meeting shenanigans I don’t know who is. Is there seriously another candidate to match this little f*cker’s actions and morals. I don’t anyone who likes this player, even non-Arsenal fans booed him for his money grabbing antics when he left, in fact even today many of my non-Arsenal mates thinks this little shit is the epitome of what’s bad in football, I hear even his wife speaks highly of him too! I think whoever voted for the money grabbing dwarf, pop tart marrying, unscrupulous, little shit should have their nuts placed in a spiked vice operated by ‘father beans and fine chianti’ loving Hannibal Lecter. OK but enough of that rant.

The Alex Hleb saga is continuing.. ZZZZZZZzzzzzzzz, you can add a groan in there too. one of Barcelona’s people have come out and said they are in talks, but didn’t we know this already? I just realised I just broke one of my golden rules – I wasn’t going to post anything about Hleb until it was confirmed he was sold, sorry about that. Anyway I’m sure he’ll be sold soon enough. I had a thought last night about Barcelona and how they conduct business and seem specifically targeting Arsenal players even though the players are under contract (like that means anything) and are more importantly are not for sale (like that means anything). Do you reckon as well that the Barcelona hierarchy are still pissed by the fact that we got hold of Cesc Fabregas for f*ck all and will do all they can to get under our skin and generally be as disruptive as possible? It seems the Catalan giants are on a one team mission to destroy The Arsenal and just take any player we have. Or am I just being really paranoid?

Samir Nasri (OK another groan) is apparently going to have his medical today and finally sign up after the longest transfer deal in history! But if doesn’t happen today, then tomorrow, if not tomorrow then the day after and so on and so forth. You get the picture.

One strange linkage for us at the moment is the Russian Andrei Arshavin who some papers The Daily Telegraph included are saying we’re lining up. Now sure about you good people, but anyone out there got deja vue or is it a case of gold fish type memory. Think back to January when Arsène Wenger was having a look at possible recruits, well Arshavin was one of those players. This in my opinion isn’t exactly breaking news. If anything I think (or would hope) Wenger put a deal in place way back in January with the Zenit St Petersburg player to join. Surely waiting this long and in particular during an international competition to snag a player who will possible go on to have a great competition would push his price tag through the roof. Wenger could of possible got him in January for say between £5-10m but remember Wenger also said he didn’t need new players in the January transfer window, so hopefully what with Wenger being a right shrewd so and so he put Arshavin ‘on ice’ and it’s a done deal already. Remember good people by the time the stories make the papers/sites these are normally done deals, but I guess we’ll see.

Lastly, when I was coming to work today I nearly choked on my bacon sandwich when I read something about West Ham United player Craig Bellamy. No he wasn’t in the paper for whacking a team mate with a golf club or getting into an altercation with some fat lass in a Welsh night club, not even close. The story couldn’t be any further from that, the player most love to hate has actually put in £650,000 of his own cash to found a programme for kids in Sierra Leone. The programme is called The Craig Bellamy Foundation, the player has said he isn’t looking to make a profit or in it for personal gain but just wants to do some good.

“I’m not looking for the next Didier Drogba, as long as the every child leaves ready with a good education. It will be my second home. I have no doubt about that.’

I must admit my opinion of Bellamy has changed, I don’t think I would say that in a million years. But fair play to Craig Bellamy for doing something like that, he recognises he is in a privileged position and wants to give back to those who don’t have it as good. So Craig Bellamy I salute you, who would of thought I would give Bellamy praise, your heart is obviously in the right place. Now I wonder if C*ntley C*nt would do that because he wanted an extra five grand a week?

i couldn’t believe it when i saw ashley cole in the greatest players list! especially up at the 25 mark… i know a certain dutchman got my vote!!! btw i know the nasri deal has been going on for aggesss ut i cant wait till we get him, lookng at him on youtube, looks a fantastic prospect.

  2. Personally I think The Arsenal site should publish a list of all the people who voted for C*ntley C*nt to see just who these turncoats are.

Must admit I voted for a certain Frenchman and not it wasn’t Pires! Although I still think he is one of the most under rated players The Arsenal ever had.

Bellamy! Not that you can ever believe the papers, however it was in the Sun or Mirror that he was dragged out of a casino, in Sierra Leone after trying to kick off with nearly anyone within a few metres of him. A local African guy was saying he was shocked at his violent behavior after seeing him rolling around on the floor trying to beat someone up. So much for his piece mission………..

  4. The Sun or The Mirror?! You let those rags into your brainstream? Well true or not him beating someone up – you can’t argue with the fact he is giving something back to the kids, so fair play to him on that score IMO.

That’s really a big shame to put the cunt upper then Mc’Lintock , Winterburn!
As to the top 50 , i think it’s too much, has to be redused to 30 may be. Really the legends and heroes of all times !

  6. Stu says:

Yes I have been spitting blood ever since I saw that c*nt was no 25 in greatest players. How can he be above King Kenny and Nutty Nige. I’m sorry but there is no way Arsenal fans have voted him there. I would have Nelson vivas and Morrow above him!!!! In fact I would even go as far as to say I would have John Divine and Steve Walford in front of that money grabbing t*sser. I was a little bit gutted that Nic the Sulk got in at 29 but no where near what I felt this morning.
On the subject of signings, cos it’s gone so quiet I actually think Arsene has been doing his stuff behind the scenes and we’ll make a couple next week, along with Nasri today/2mo.

  7. Good call Stu,

One thing I forgot to write when doing the post about Andrei Arshavin, was that last year all the papers were full of us signing Le Sulk, Martins et al however Wenger was too clever and pulled the wool over everyone’s eyes – because no one at all had the name Eduardo on the list – not any list. That’s why I believe (hope) that Wenger has been conducting his transfers with a huge smoke screen in place!

So whilst all these stories are saying AC Milan want Adebayor – don’t be surprised to find out we’ve gone out and bought Kaka.. (well you can dream can’t you?)

There is going to be one or two surprises put it that way… crossed fingers!

come on chaps… Ashley Cole may screwed things up PR-wise but think about it – he left, we got Gallas and a few million quid and Clichy got his chance to prove he is equally good if not even better. And Chelsea bought a semi-crock. How is any of that a bad thing? Yes some of his comments were ill-advised but these have to be set against years of fantastic performances including that last-minute diving header which saved us from being kicked out the Champion’s League and set us on the road to the final. I know football fans are supposed to buy into the rabid, knee jerk one-eyed view of the world created by the Sun newspaper. But surely as Arsenal fans we should aspire to something more than that…?

  9. Boris Godunov says:

Cashley got that place probably because some young English pukes voted for him, those who haven’t lived long enough to remember oldies but goldies. I was gonna have breakfast this morning, but, after reading this, I lost appetite. I just had an idea. If there’s a Hall of Fame, there should also be a Hall of Shame. If they ever make one, Cashley’s name will shine in there like a beakon.
On a more positive note though, I really hope we’ll sign Arshavin, the guy is ten times better than Nasri kid. We need those who can make difference up front on regular basis. Until then, let’s watch the damn Euros.

  10. So you voted for C*ntley C*nt then Timoa?? :0 I hear what you’re saying but is that little shit higher on the list than say someone like George Armstrong, George Graham even – he certainly isn’t above double winning captain Big Frank!

Boris – you have given me a crazy idea to create something there?!?!

  11. timao says:

No I didn’t vote for anyone. That poll was a stupid waste of time from the beginning. For trainspotters with special needs in my view. As you rightly point out – how can you compare Frank McClintock, George Graham, Tony Adams, Dennis Bergkamp, Ian Wright, Thierry Henry, Liam Brady etc etc and say who is bettter? Half the names I couldn’t comment on anyway – the guys from the thirties and the like. It seems very unfair on those guys who really should probably form a solid phalanx in the top twenty, given their achievements. But they hardly get a look in. All I am saying is that people should stop coating Ashley Cole and start remembering why we felt so bad about him leaving i.e because he did good things for us.

  12. Like I said Timao I hear where your coming from on C*ntley C*nt but still.

Also as we all know the reason that top 50 malarkey is on there is because there’s absolutely fuck all for the official site to report on. It’s all filler no killer – we all know who’s going to win or at least have an idea who the top ten will be – hardly going to be a surprise DB10 or TH14 walking out with the gong.

Must admit the official site is running out of ideas, even the Setanta Arsenal channel is a bag of piss, I’m not too sure just how many times I can watch TH14 score ‘that’ goal against the y*ds – it’s on every 5 secs! I love that goal but fuck me – change the material!
